I will put some photos up after the Festival.
For those of you interested in the recipe's I will be doing a demonstration of the Raw Cacao Almond Butter Cups at 4:30 at the Festival and the recipe will be available there at that time also. Would love to see some familiar faces at the demo.
And if you haven't tasted these yet you will be ready to throw away Reese's forever and eat healthy as well as delighting in Chocolate.
Looking forward to the fun of the Festival.
And because I had to seriously "name" the truffles I have named them Raw Bliss...so keep that in positive energies between now and then.

Frowner Following up.
My truffles didn't win. Of course they were the ONLY raw ones and the winner was a tequilia truffle. Hard to compete with all that sugar and booze. And it was a good experience for me to feel I was still putting the Raw delicious food out there and holding that energy.
I also did a demonstration on how to make Raw Almond Butter Cups and that was successful. A lot of interest in not only the Butter Cups but also in Raw food and a lot of good questions so all in all it was a good day.
And maybe someday they will have a Raw grouping and then I stand a much better chance of winning...I'll never give up...I'll never give up Razzer

I bet you had a beautiful presentation with your chocolate. Good for you to never give up! and as a wise person said the biggest things can come from what we see as the smaller /insignifigance events in our life(gist of the words).
An owner of a chocolate store was so interested when I was telling him about your raw chocolate, and said he planned to research the subject for his own information. They(he and his wife) had moved here from around the Durango area to start their business. Do you have any suggestions you would share of reading materials I could give to him. Thanks
VL

Vonda,

May I suggest you suggest your friend checking in personally on this forum -- He can email me, if necessary, "colorado@usermail.com" and I'd be happy to help him get enrolled.

There's a lot of raw potential to get some really exciting discussion going around sweet (and nutritious) chocolates, etc.

I had to admire Kathleen's raw chocolate induction for the parents and children present at the demonstration -- when they tasted (and literally devoured every morsel, and licked the bowls and spoons) the raw chocolate treats she prepared, she told the children they could eat as much as they wanted and it was actually GOOD for them! No doubt their parents are now learning new recipes and preparing "candy" for them and their children!!!

It was really exciting to just watch the enthusiasm of kids eating peanut butter cups that are both nutrutious and delicious -- what a win-win way of eating and knowing the body is also actually enjoying (at many levels) what we're eating.

Thanks, Vonda!

I agree with Tom to bring them to the forum and have them ask specific questions to open the dialogue for all to participate in.
The best reading on Cacao is by David Wolfe, Naked Chocolate. That would be a great place for them to start. And here on the forum.
I just posted the Almond butter cup recipe.

This morning I read this information:
Raw Chocolate is now being hailed as one of the healthiest foods on the planet! As listed in
health News Bulletin I recieve daily. The article was titled "How to cope with food cravings by Sheryl Walters."

I am looking forward to making your raw chocolate recipe.

Kathleen I think you should be so proud of the fact that you have opened up this great area of chocolate. We never know what may feel small at the time can be very large in the end.

I want to look at that book you mentioned and I will pass that information on to the Candy Store Owner. Thanks Tom! VL

SmilerThank you Vonda,
What I feel with the chocolate is that when we bring into manifestation what we love and in the way we love doing it...a wonderful joy occurs all around us. And that seems to be what happens with Chocolate and Me.
I am committed to a Wholeness and vitality, and constantly search for ways to manifest that and align with that in my life. That for me means eating what will nourish and align me, take me to the frequency that serves this souls process...and I wouldn't want to live without chocolate...it was a survival mechanism when I went raw...and look how it has served...love is the primary ingredient to the whole thing.
Good Cacao, Good frequencies, and LOVE!!! And you can't go wrong! Big Grin
Again Thank you for enjoying and acknowledging.
Blessings,
Kathleen

Wow! Kathleen I love the way you stated that, and I could see and hear your heart centerness.
that is a great peice to remember as I look for my calling. I have become friends with this woman who has a beautiful gallery. It was my intervention when I was stressed as just going there to walk around was so centering. She hired someone before I truly voiced wanting a change. Because when I would visit her shop my inner self would talk to me about working in a place like that and I would push the thought away(ego) with reasons why it would not work. She hired someone in last couple months. Today when I talked with her she stated I would be most interested in discussing this if this person does not work. She took my number to call if she has a change.VL
