The Opening of Eyes

That day I saw beneath dark clouds
The passing light over the water
And I heard the voice of the world speak out
I knew then as I have before
Life is no passing memory of what has been
Nor the remaining pages of a great book
Waiting to be read

It is the opening of eyes long closed
It is the vision of far off things
Seen for the silence they hold
It is the heart after years of secret conversing
Speaking out loud in the clear air

It is Moses in the desert fallen to his knees
Before the lit bush
It is the man throwing away his shoes
As if to enter heaven and finding himself astonished
Opened at last
Fallen in love
With Solid Ground

What a beautiful photo and I felt a deep saddness of things that fail in midflight. As I looked at the photo I remembered my favorite piece by Carl Jung that hung on my bathroom wall in others times and it goes something like I'm parafrashing the meaning to me "that life is a balance of darkness and life and we meet it all with peacefulness".

Vonda,

It IS sad to know someone has fallen in mid-flight or to watch someone falling in mid-flight. And so joyful to experience yourself or see another "Opened at last -- throwing away their shoes, as if to enter heaven"

This peaceful-ness that Jung mentions CAN be discovered through the Heart Center -- It is the essence of the Heart Center's experience. And Kathleen is a Master in teaching others of this experience.

I know I use Kathleen Heart centered Techniques and there are so helpful in my life.
When I looked at your beautiful picture, I was immeditaley taken to a very painful lost in a spot that was identicial to the picture in 1984. It was a wonderful opportunity to process and my energy is lighter today. That is a first to process something in that way. Out with debris and room for more light which sounds like a winner to me. And thanks for all you do to make the web site so lovely and all the time you take to share. VL
